This is where you make choices affecting every page of your site. You can change the settings at any time. The options are as follows:

  • Colour scheme sets the colours for various parts of each page.
  • Font scheme controls the font name, size and weight to be used for various parts of each page.
  • Master page selects the format of each page, principal difference being the way menus are displayed.
  • Site title sets the text that will appear first in the title bar of the browser window. An additional portion of text is added for each page.
  • Description and keywords are not visible to the casual visitor, but are used by some search engines to reference sites. Description should be a fairly short piece of text describing the site, while keywords should be a comma-separated list of keywords. (Note that my,web, site will be treated as three keywords, while my web, site will be treated as two keywords. Also note that there is very little point in entering my web site in the keywords or description list...)
  • The number of pages cannot be changed here once it has been set (ie the first time you modify your site): use add page and delete page instead.
  • Email address sets the email address to which messages from the site's email form will be sent. Note that the address itself does not appear anywhere on the site (unless you type it on one of the pages)!

Click modify and then continue to return to the main menu.
