All Text

This is where you set up one particular page. The options are as follows:

  • Title sets the text that appears next to the page title in the title bar of your browser, and also as the main heading of the page itself.
  • Menu entry sets the... menu entry. This should be fairly short.
  • Body text sets the main block of text for the page.
  • Treat body test as tells Carrelet how you want the text to be interpreted. This is explained in more detail on the next three pages. If in doubt, leave this set to plain text.
  • Add email form will put a simple email form at the bottom of the page. Messages will be sent to the address specified on the global settings page.
  • Add guestbook will add a guest book form at the bottom of the page. You can add a guestbook and an email form, but this is likely to create a certain amount of confusion...

Click modify and then continue to return to the main menu.

(Hint: once you have changed the page titles and menu entries, it may not be immediately obvious what page number you want to edit. The easiest way to find out is to click on the page you want on the site itself and see what number appears in the browser url window. For example, page 5 will be called something/index5.html.)
